Schnebly Redland's Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5k run/walk held at Schnebly Redland's Winery, 30205 SW 217th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030. The event is open to ages 1 to 99. Standard registration is listed at $30, with a reduced price of $25 for ages 1-20; prices increase after January 9, 2026. There is also a volunteer "Help with Check-in Then Run" option with a limited number of spots. Virtual participation is offered, either by picking up a packet and completing the run independently or by switching to a shipped virtual packet (shipping and handling fees apply). Packet pickup takes place on race day beginning one hour before the event.
Course, timing and race items
The course runs through the winery grounds and vineyards and is described as mostly grass with some pavement and several turns; it is not presented as a course for personal best times. Timing and results are provided by J3 Timing and posted online at J3Timing.com. Registration includes a long sleeve ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a chip-timed race bib. Wine is not included in registration and requires a separate wine ticket purchase.
Awards, charity and extras
Top three finishers in each age group receive custom awards. Age categories are in 10-year bands from 1-9 up to 80 & over; eligible competitors should start with the first group to qualify for age-group awards. Awards must be picked up on race day and will not be shipped. The event lists Nik's Wish as its charity partner and offers free race photos available for download after the event.
