Lost in Miami Ultra - January 9, 2027
Lost in Miami Ultra is a fixed time urban ultra held in Miami with an 18 hour time limit. The event uses no set route and no loops; participants choose their own path through the city to visit required landmarks. Organizers provide a list of landmark locations a few days before the event so runners can plan a route or decide to navigate as they go.
Rankings are based on the most miles accumulated during the 18 hour window. Runners must present GPS proof of miles at the finish. To officially register miles, participants must take a selfie at each required landmark and show those images at the finish. Podium eligibility requires visiting all required landmarks and returning to the finish on foot. If a runner stops and takes a ride to the finish they remain a finisher and keep credit for miles completed on foot but are not eligible for podium awards.
The event is limited to 40 runners. All entrants receive a Lost in Miami t-shirt, surprise swag, and a finisher medal. The start and finish location is Hero Martial Arts at 17049 S Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. Registration closes January 7. Refunds are not offered; a one-time deferral or credit to another MURS race may be available for unexpected complications when organizers are notified.
