Lost in Miami Ultra
Lost in Miami Ultra is an 18 hour fixed time running event in Miami with no set route and no loops. Participants receive a list of required landmarks a few days before the event and choose their own path through the city during the race.
Rankings are determined by the total miles accumulated within the 18 hour limit. Runners must use a GPS tracker to provide proof of miles at the finish. In addition, participants must take a selfie at each required landmark and present those photos at the finish to have their miles officially registered.
To be eligible for podium awards, runners must visit all required landmarks and return to the finish on foot. Participants who stop and use a vehicle may still be recorded as finishers and receive credit for miles completed on foot but are not eligible for podium awards.
The event starts and finishes at Hero Martial Arts at 17049 S Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The field is limited to 40 runners. All entrants receive a Lost in Miami t-shirt, surprise swag, and a finisher medal. The organizer does not offer refunds; a one time deferral or credit to another MURS race may be provided for unexpected complications.
