Lost in Miami Ultra : January 9, 2027
Lost in Miami Ultra is a fixed-time, urban ultra where each runner plans their own route through Miami. The event gives runners 18 hours to visit required landmarks and accumulate as many miles as possible. A list of landmark locations is provided shortly before the event; there are no set routes, no loops, and no course directions or cards.
Rankings are based on total miles accumulated, verified by a GPS tracker presented at the finish. To be eligible for podium awards runners must visit all required landmarks and return to the finish on foot within the 18-hour limit. Runners must take a selfie at each landmark and show these photos at the finish to register their miles. If a runner stops and finishes by vehicle they remain a finisher and receive credit for miles completed on foot but become ineligible for podium awards.
The event starts and finishes at Hero Martial Arts, 17049 S. Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The field is limited to 40 runners. All entrants receive a Lost in Miami t-shirt, additional swag, and a finisher medal. The organizer does not offer refunds; a one-time deferral or credit to another Miami Ultra Race Series event may be available for unexpected complications. Registration closes January 7, 2027.
Past fixed-time performances include a men's 18-hour distance of 86.58 miles (2025) and a women's 18-hour distance of 84.05 miles (2025). Landmark visit records for 2025 were 48 for men and 38 for women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
