Lost in Miami Ultra
Lost in Miami Ultra is a fixed-time urban ultra held in Miami on January 9, 2027. The event gives each runner 18 hours to move through the city and visit required landmarks; a list of landmarks is provided a few days before the event. There is no set route and no loops, so participants plan their own path and may change their plan during the event.
Rankings are based on the most miles accumulated within the allotted time. Runners must present GPS tracking as proof of miles at the finish. To validate landmark visits, participants must take a selfie at each required location and show the photos at the finish. Podium eligibility requires reaching all required landmarks and returning to the finish on foot. If a runner stops and uses a vehicle to return, they remain a finisher and receive credit for miles completed on foot but are not eligible for podium awards.
The event starts and finishes at Hero Martial Arts, 17049 S. Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The field is limited to 40 runners. Entry refunds are not offered; organizers may grant a one-time deferral or credit to another race in cases of unexpected complications if notified as soon as possible. Participants receive a t-shirt, additional swag, and a finisher medal. Team entries and informal partnerships are permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
