Lost in Miami Ultra is scheduled for January 10, 2026 in Palmetto Bay, Miami, FL. The start and finish location is Hero Martial Arts at 17049 S. Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The event is limited to 50 runners. Registration closes January 7, 2026.
Format and course
This is a fixed-time, 18-hour urban adventure with no set route and no loops. Runners receive a list of required landmarks the day before the event and may plot their own route through the streets of Miami. There are no course cards or provided directions. All miles recorded within the 18-hour limit count toward the result.
Scoring, evidence, and awards
Rankings are based on the most miles accumulated. Runners must present GPS tracking data at the finish to show proof of miles. Competitors must take a selfie at each required landmark and show the photos at the finish to officially register those miles. To be eligible for podium awards, runners must reach all required landmarks and return to the finish on foot; arriving by vehicle disqualifies a runner from podium eligibility. There will be an overall podium for first through third places. All finishers receive a t-shirt, swag, and a finisher medal.
Records and policies
Recorded 18-hour distances from previous events include: men's 86.58 miles (2025) and women's 84.05 miles (2025). Landmarks-visited records include 48 (men, 2025) and 38 (women, 2025). The event does not offer refunds; a one-time deferral or credit to another Miami Ultra Race Series event may be provided for unexpected complications.
