Lost in Miami Ultra : January 9, 2027, Miami FL
Lost in Miami Ultra is a fixed time urban ultra where runners navigate Miami without a set route or loops. The event uses an 18 hour time limit. Participants receive a list of required landmarks a few days before the race and plan their own path through the city.
There are no course cards or provided directions. Rankings are based on the most miles accumulated within the 18 hour period. Runners must use a GPS tracker to show proof of miles at the finish and must take a selfie at each landmark to register those visits. To be eligible for podium awards, runners must reach all required landmarks and return to the finish on foot. If a runner finishes by other means they remain a finisher and receive credit for miles completed on foot but are not eligible for podium awards.
The event encourages partnerships or teams so runners can navigate together. All participants receive a Lost in Miami t shirt, surprise swag, and a finisher medal. There will be overall podium places for the top three competitors by miles recorded. The event is limited to 40 runners and registration closes on January 7, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET.
