Scarlet Raptor Centennial 5K
The Scarlet Raptor Centennial 5K is a running and walking event held to commemorate 100 years of Rutgers University-Camden. Previously known as the Roger S. Clark Rutgers Law APIL 5K Run for Justice, the race continues its mission to raise funds for student stipends for public interest legal work, including advocacy for social justice and civil rights.
The event features two primary distance options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Both the start and finish lines are located at the Camden Athletic Complex on the Rutgers University-Camden campus. The venue is situated at Delaware Avenue and Linden Street. Participants who complete their registration before the event date are guaranteed a celebratory race t-shirt. The event provides awards for top finishers in the 5K categories.
Parking is available for participants at City Lot 13 on Delaware Avenue or via metered street parking on Pearl Street. The race is open to both students and the general public, with different registration tiers available for each group. Day-of registration and packet pick-up are hosted on-site at the athletic complex prior to the start of the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
