Event Overview
The Scaredy Cat K9 5K is a dog-friendly 5 km walk/run taking place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 200 Westboro Road in North Grafton, Massachusetts. Participants are encouraged to bring their dogs, and costumes are optional, with a prize for the best-dressed dog.
Event Activities
The main 5 km event starts at 10:00 am. The day also includes a health and fitness fair with food trucks, a beer tent, vendors, music, and free face painting. Several dog demonstrations are scheduled, including "Updog" demonstrations and a Vest-A-Dog Police K9 demonstration. An awards ceremony for the 5K is scheduled for 11:45 am.
Charity Focus
Proceeds from the event benefit animal welfare programs run by MVMA Charities and the Travis Fund, the chosen charity of Tufts SAVMA. A registration fee refund is offered to participants who raise at least $100 for charity or refer at least five friends who sign up.
