Event Overview
The Scaredy Cat K95K is a community event held in North Grafton, Massachusetts. This event takes place at the Campus Center on Westboro Road and focuses on raising funds for animal welfare programs. Proceeds from the race support MVMA Charities and the Travis Fund to assist animals in need.
Participants can choose between two primary event formats:
- 5K (In-person walk or run)
- 5K (Virtual walk or run)
The in-person 5K route is open to participants of all ages and their dogs. Costumes for both humans and animals are encouraged, with an award presented to the best-dressed dog. The day includes a health and fitness fair featuring food trucks, a beer tent, various vendors, and music. Attendees can also observe doggy demonstrations and access free face painting.
Participation Details
The virtual registration option allows participants to complete a 5K at a location of their choice, either alone or accompanied by any type of pet, including cats, pigs, goats, or birds. Virtual entrants have the option to submit photographs of their activity to the organizers.
Registrations completed by October 1, 2026, include a commemorative race t-shirt. Participants who refer at least five additional registrants or raise a specific amount for the designated charities are eligible for a refund of their registration fee.
