Scarecrow Stampede
The Scarecrow Stampede takes place in Wanatah as part of the Wanatah Scarecrow Festival. The event is held at 309 School Dr., Wanatah, IN 46390, USA.
The event program includes two course options:
- 5K Run, 3.1 miles
- 3K Walk, 3 kilometers
Registration fees vary by date: July 16 to September 11 is $30, September 12 to September 25 is $35, and race day registration is $35. Shirt sizes and availability are only guaranteed for registrations completed by September 11.
Awards are presented for the 5K Run to the top overall male and female finishers, the top male and female masters, and the top male and female finisher in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-75, 75+. The 3K Walk is non-competitive and does not receive awards.
Computerized timing for the event is provided by T&H Timing. No dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, or wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
