Scarecrow Fun Run - Nibley City
The Scarecrow Fun Run is a harvest themed family fitness event in Nibley City that includes free kids races and timed road races. Packet pick up and day-of registration are held at Heritage Park, 2456 S 800 W, Nibley, UT 84321. Early bird online registration is open until Wed 9/2 and regular online registration continues until Thur 9/17; day-of registration is available online and in person.
Distances and race options:
- Free kids runs: 100-yard, 1/4-mile, 1/2-mile, and 1-mile
- 5K timed race
- 10K timed race
- 10K relay for two-person teams
The course features scarecrow displays placed along the route that may startle participants. The 5K and 10K use professional timing, include a Tech T-shirt for entrants, and produce official finish results. Runners cannot complete both the 1-mile run and the 5K or 10K in the same event. Creative categories include Funnest Pair and Stroller Racer; judges evaluate creative entries for awards. Dogs are not allowed in these runs.
Age divisions and awards are provided for the 5K and 10K with separate male and female divisions and an Adaptive Roll division accessible to frame runners and wheelchair users.
