Scarecrow Fun Run
The Scarecrow Fun Run takes place at Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park in Nibley, Utah. This community event offers a variety of distances and categories to accommodate different ages and abilities. Participants can choose from several competitive and non-competitive options.
The event features the following distances:
- 10K
- 10K Relay (2-person teams)
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk/Run
- 1/2 mile (ages 12 and under)
- 1/4 mile (ages 8 and under)
- 100 yard dash (ages 4 and under)
The 5K and 10K routes are ADA accessible and include an Adaptive Roll Division. Along these courses, participants encounter themed scarecrow elements. Runners in the 5K, 10K, and 10K Relay receive a long-sleeve tech T-shirt and official finish line results.
Age divisions for the 5K and 10K include 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and a Masters division for those 60 and older. Awards are presented to the top three runners in each age group, as well as the overall top three male and female finishers. The 10K Relay provides prizes for the top three teams in male, female, and coed divisions. Additional creative categories include recognitions for strollers and pairs.
