Scarecrow Fun Run - Nibley City
The Scarecrow Fun Run takes place in Nibley City on September 19, 2026. The event is a family fitness event held at Heritage Park and includes free kids runs plus timed 5K and 10K races and a two-person 10K relay. Packet pick up and day-of registration occur at Heritage Park.
The event includes these distances and races:
- 100 Yard Dash (children 4 and under)
- 1/4 Mile Run (children 8 and under)
- 1/2 Mile Run (children 12 and under)
- 1 Mile Run/Walk (all ages)
- 5K run
- 10K run
- 10K Relay for two-person teams
Course and race details are provided by the organizer. The 5K and 10K courses are described as well marked, mostly on hard surface with a few patches of grass, and relatively flat. Scarecrow-themed elements are placed along parts of the route and may startle runners. Professional timing, a tech T-shirt, finish line results, and awards are part of the timed events.
The 10K relay uses an exchange point at a gravel parking lot on 640 West; relay logistics include a shuttle between the start and the exchange point and limited parking at the exchange. Alternate relay options are noted for teams. Creative categories include Funnest Pair and Stroller Racer. Dogs are not permitted in these runs.
