Event Overview
The Scarecrow 2.0 is an annual running event held in Exeter, California. The race begins at Exeter City Park and takes participants through the downtown area, passing local scarecrow displays along the course. The event features several race distances to accommodate various age groups and preferences.

- 10K Run/Walk (6.2 miles)
- 2 Mile Run/Walk
- 0.5 Mile Kids Dash (for ages 6 to 10)
- 100m Kids Dash (for ages 1 to 5)
Race Amenities and Participants
Registered participants receive a variety of amenities, including a Scarecrow 2.0 T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a certificate of completion. All races utilize chip timing to provide accurate results. After crossing the finish line, participants are provided with free race photos and a Svenhard's danish, a local specialty from Exeter.
The event atmosphere includes a live DJ and music within the park, as well as free drinks and food for attendees. A costume contest is held as part of the festivities. Awards are presented to male and female finishers across multiple age categories, ranging from 0-12 to over 70 years old.
Community Involvement
A portion of the funds raised from the race and additional donations are contributed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias. This organization serves youth in Tulare County by providing access to programs and a supervised environment for learning and development.
