Scandia Run : Valley South Athletic Club
The Scandia Run takes place in Junction City and uses roads that pass through the outskirts of the town into Willamette Valley farmlands. The event includes multiple route options for different ages and preferences and is managed by Valley South Athletic Club.
The race began in 1975 and was started by the Junction City High School Cross Country Team together with the Junction City Parks and Recreation Department. The event is held in association with Junction City’s Scandinavian Festival.

- 5K USATF certified road course
- 10K USATF certified road course
- 4 Mile Walk
- 400 m Run with the Vikings youth run; youth shirt included with that registration
Registration is available through Race Roster. Printable registration forms may be mailed to the VSAC PO Box and must be received by 08/10/2026; forms can also be dropped off at Eugene Running Company. Scandia Run T-shirts can be purchased during registration for $20, and the kids' run includes a youth sized shirt at no extra cost.
