Frozen Trail Run Fest
Frozen Trail Run Fest takes place on December 12, 2026 at Howard Buford Park, Mt. Pisgah in Eugene, Oregon. The event offers multiple trail distances on looped courses that start and finish at the horse arena staging area north of the trailhead.

Course notes describe wet and muddy conditions on flat sections of Base Loop 1 and Base Loop 2. Summit Loop includes a short section on packed gravel road, and a 0.64 mile out-and-back to Aid 2 is gravel as well. The remainder of the courses run on well maintained trails of varying width and surface. Base Loop 1, Base Loop 2 and Summit Loop include small creek crossings.
The 50K is four loops, each gaining between 800 and 1000 feet of elevation. The 25K is two loops with similar elevation gain per loop. The 15K is one loop climbing about 900 feet. The 5K contains a steep section between 1.32 and 1.9 miles that ascends the mountain. The 50K has a time limit of eight hours and all courses will close at 4:00 PM.
Aid stations are placed as shown on the course maps; looped events have a transition aid station at the start and finish area. Athletes must present their bib number at each pass through the transition area for tracking. Aid stations provide first aid, water, GU Brew, GU Energy Gel and light snacks.
Entry fees are listed by distance with age discounts and a race day registration surcharge. Long sleeve tech shirts are available for purchase with an early cutoff on December 1. Registration is available online or in person at Run Hub NW through the Friday before the race. Packet pickup is on race day at the start and finish area.
