Frozen Trail Run Fest
Frozen Trail Run Fest takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at Howard Buford Park on Mt. Pisgah in Eugene, Oregon. The event offers multiple looped trail races around the park and uses the horse arena staging area as the start and finish location. Parking fees are covered by Level 32 Racing.

Course notes describe wet and muddy conditions on the flat sections of Base Loop 1 and Base Loop 2. The Steep Summit Loop includes a short section on packed gravel road and the 0.64 mile out-and-back to Aid 2 is gravel. Base Loop 1, Base Loop 2 and Summit Loop each have small creek crossings. The 5K contains a sustained climb between 1.32 and 1.9 miles. The 50K comprises four loops each gaining between 800 and 1000 feet of elevation. The 25K comprises two loops each with similar elevation gain. The 15K is one loop climbing about 900 feet. The 50K has a time limit of 8 hours.
Aid stations are placed as shown on the course maps and include first aid, water, GU Brew, GU Energy Gel and light snacks. Events that return to the start area before continuing will use a transition aid station where participants must provide their BIB number for tracking. Course maps and a printable entry form are provided, and long sleeve tech shirts are available for purchase with an early cutoff date.
