Savannah Ultra Urban 50k Run
The Savannah Ultra Urban 50k Run is a self supported road event through Savannah, Georgia, held on November 28, 2026 and organized by Run 4 a Reason. The course distance is 50K and the field is capped at 25 runners. The event is free to enter.
The course route is changed each year to show different parts of Savannah. Some sections travel through busy areas of the city. Organizers ask participants to be attentive to traffic, use sidewalks when available, and run against traffic where appropriate. Safety and mutual awareness within a pace group are emphasized.
Runners should carry their own supplies. The route passes grocery and convenience stores, but participants are advised not to rely solely on those for fluids and fuel. The event encourages people to run in groups to find a steady pace and to share the experience along the route.
Each finisher receives a custom made tile art item that represents a Savannah token. Registration closes on Friday, November 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
