Savannah Ultra Urban 50k Run
The Savannah Ultra Urban 50k Run is a self supported 50 kilometer road event held in Savannah, GA on November 28, 2026. The event is organized by Run 4 a Reason. Entry to the run is free but the field is capped at 25 runners and there is a new participation requirement in place.
The course is changed each year so participants experience different segments of the city. The route includes some busy sections of Savannah; organizers advise attentiveness to surroundings, use of sidewalks when available, and running facing traffic where appropriate. The course also passes grocery and convenience stores, but participants should plan to carry enough fluids, gels, and other fuels for the entire distance.
Participants commonly form pace groups during the run and may run together for company and navigation. The event is described as self supported, so participants are expected to manage their own supplies and needs while on course.
