Event Overview
The Miles for Music 5K & 10k is an annual community running event held at the New Richmond Hill High School in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This event serves as a fundraiser benefiting the Richmond Hill High School Wildcat Marching Band. Participants can choose between three distinct running options:
- 5k
- 10k
- Donut 5k
The 10k distance is a new addition for this year's edition. During the event, the 180-member Wildcat Band performs to provide music for participants at the start and finish lines. Endurance Race Services manages the event day operations, which include course setup and non-chip timing for the participants.
The Donut 5k is a special division that includes a specific challenge. Upon reaching the halfway point of the race, participants in this category consume two donuts before completing the second half of the course. Completion of this division includes an upgraded finisher medal.
Packet pick-up is available locally at Game Changers on the Friday preceding the race, as well as on the morning of the event at the school location. Participants who register by early April are eligible to receive an event t-shirt, though sizes become limited for later registrations.
