Savannah River Marathon

Savannah River Marathon : North Augusta, SC

The Savannah River Marathon is an organized running event on October 17, 2026, hosted in North Augusta, South Carolina. Races start and finish at the Sharon Jones Amphitheater and follow local greenways and riverfront trails.

The event included the following distances:

• Marathon (quadruple loop)
• Half marathon (double loop)
• 10K

Courses run along the North Augusta Greeneway, cross the Savannah River, and follow the River Levy trail in Augusta, Georgia. The Crowne Plaza is adjacent to the start/finish area. Chip timing will be used and water stations are placed approximately every 2 to 3 miles. Trails and sidewalks remain open to other users, including runners, walkers, and cyclists. A six hour time limit applies to all races. The field was capped and registration is closed; there are no refunds for the event.

Awards for the marathon and half marathon are given to the top two male and female finishers in these categories: Overall, 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The 10K awards recognize the top three overall male and female finishers.
