Savage 7k
Savage 7k is a community fundraising event held on October 25 at Carroll Baldwin Hall in Savage, Maryland. The event centers on Baldwin Hall, a building constructed from stone from the Little Patuxent River that has served as the town's community center for over a century.
Proceeds for this edition are directed to specific Baldwin Hall projects: a new exterior sign, a curtain for the stage, and the installation of a gas insert for the stone fireplace. The event includes a measured course that begins and ends at Baldwin Hall, runs past Savage Mill, goes through Savage Park and nearby neighborhoods, and returns to the hall. A guided mile walk offers a short tour through historic Savage.
Distances:
- 7K run
- 1 mile walk
Registration is limited to 250 participants. Registrations made by October 12 were eligible for a race t-shirt. The event page lists tiered registration fees and notes on packet pick-up and day-of registration. Costumes are encouraged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
