Reindeer Romp 5k & 10k - Fletcher's Boathouse, Washington, DC
This event offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The course is an out-and-back on the C&O Canal path, a light gravel flat trail with no major elevation gains; the 10k is a single out-and-back loop. The venue is Fletcher’s Boathouse at 4940 Canal Rd NW, Washington, DC, where parking and restrooms are available in the facility near the start and finish.
Points from the races count toward the 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and also toward the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. Walkers and strollers are welcome.
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and the event is chip timed. Water stations are placed along the courses—three on the 10k at about miles 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65, and one on the 5k at about mile 1.55; Gatorade is available at some stations. Packet pickup is available at the event; there will be no on-site race registration. Live results are posted on Athlinks with a race QR code for immediate viewing, and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
