About the race
Saturn Running's Giraffe Gallop takes place at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU. It’s a 7-hour time-challenge along a stretch of the River Thames, with a minimum distance of 3km and full laps of 7km (4.37 miles), subject to course conditions that may adjust to about 3.28 miles. Runners can complete as many laps as they wish within the time limit, with 3k and 5k turn points to help younger participants comply with distance rules.
The mostly paved course follows river paths with a short grassy section; road shoes are suitable. Medals, distance pins, a goody bag, vegan option, and an inclusive, no-pressure atmosphere await. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
