Ooops I Ran It Again - North
This event takes place at Herrington Country Park in New Herrington. It is a 7 hour Time Challenge event that gives participants control over the distance they choose to run or walk. The event is open to participants of all abilities.
The course is located on public footpaths within the park. A standard full lap is approximately 7 km (4.37 miles), though this may change to a 5.28 km (3.28 mile) loop depending on conditions. The event includes specific turn points to allow for various distances:
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon (3 laps)
- Marathon (6 laps)
- 50 km
- Ultra Marathon (7 or more laps)
Participants who complete at least 3 km are considered official finishers and receive a themed medal. Those completing a half marathon or further are eligible for specific distance pins to attach to their medal ribbon.
An aid station located at the start and finish of each lap provides a selection of drinks and sweet or savoury snacks, including vegan options. Finishers also receive a goody bag with various items to choose from. Facilities at the venue include toilets at the HQ and a non-secure area for bag storage.
