Star Weiners - 50th Anniversary Run - North
This is a seven hour Time Challenge event held on Sunday 20 June 2027 at Durham Amateur Rowing Club, Green Lane, Old Elvet, Durham. The course is classified as a trail run and follows a stretch of the River Wear with views of the Cathedral. The route is fully signed so no navigational experience is required.
Runners choose their distance within the time limit. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Members receive a lower entry fee, guaranteed entry and a mini-me medal pin; members of UK Athletics affiliated clubs get a small entry discount.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon distance and above and are attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan goody bag option available. Aid and drinks tables are available at the start and finish of each lap with a selection of drinks and snacks, including vegan options.
Facilities at race headquarters include toilets and changing. A bag drop is provided near the start and finish but is unstaffed and items are left at the participant's own risk. Pay and display parking is available in the city centre and nearby streets; runners must not use the rowing club car park. Headphones are allowed. Events use public footpaths so runners should be considerate of other path users.

- Full lap 4.37 miles / 7 km (may change to 3.28 mile loop)
- 3 laps for a half marathon
- 6 laps for a marathon
- 7 or more laps for an ultra
- 50 km distance available
