About the race
The GNR & Time Turner 2026 in Durham, organized by Saturn Running, is a 7-hour time challenge event held along the scenic River Wear near Durham Cathedral. Starting at Durham Amateur Rowing Club, the trail course features a fully signed loop of approximately 4.37 miles (7km), with options for shorter laps to accommodate younger runners. Participants can run as many laps as they wish, with distances ranging from 3km to ultra-marathon lengths, including half marathon, marathon, and 50km options.
The event welcomes all abilities, including walkers, and offers themed medals, distance pins, goody bags (including vegan options), and aid stations with snacks and drinks.
