The Nearly But Not Quite London Marathon - Wales
The event is a 7 hour Time Challenge held at Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare. Participants may choose how many laps to run within the time limit. The minimum recorded distance for an official finish is 3 km. A full lap is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles) but the course may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. The event follows UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the Trail Running Association.

The course runs on well maintained footpaths around the country park with views of the surrounding countryside. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start / finish of each lap, offering a range of drinks and savoury and sweet snacks with vegan options. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal; distance pins are provided for half-marathon and longer finishes. A goody bag is supplied to finishers, with a vegan option available.
Facilities at the venue include toilets and a cafe near race HQ. Free parking is available. A non-secure bag drop is provided. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted.
