The SATURN - Operation Overlord - 80 years D-Day Run is a 7-hour timed trail run event held on June 8, 2024, at Lee Valley White Water Centre, Waltham Cross, EN9 1AB. The event commemorates the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings during World War II. Participants have full control over the distance they want to run, with a minimum distance of 5km.
The course is flat and fast, and medals and goody bags are provided for all finishers. The event also offers distance pins for half-marathon distances or more, and an aid station with a variety of snacks and drinks. The entry fee is £37.00 for affiliated runners and £39.00 for unaffiliated runners, with a maximum of 300 entrants.
