Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge
The Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge, held at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club in Egham, is a commemorative running event honoring fallen heroes. Participants run laps of a 7km (4.37 miles) course along the scenic River Thames, featuring well-maintained paths, some grass, and trail sections that may become muddy in bad weather. Runners choose their distance within the 7-hour limit, with options ranging from a minimum 5km to ultra distances, including half marathon, marathon, and 50km challenges.
The event includes a two-minute silence at 11:00 am, with that time deducted from official results. Finishers receive Remembrance medals, goody bags (including vegan options), and distance pins. Aid stations offer drinks and snacks, and facilities include toilets and changing areas.
