Sasha's Superhero Run
Sasha's Superhero Run returns for its eighth annual edition at Halfmoon Town Park in Halfmoon, New York. This community event functions as a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities and provides support for children affected by the war in Ukraine. The event consists of a primary 5K race accompanied by two shorter distances specifically for younger participants.
The main event features a 3.1 mile (5K) out-and-back course on paved roads. This route starts and finishes near the park playground and is USATF-certified. Participants should expect rolling hills throughout the duration of the course. Registration for this distance is open to both runners and walkers.
The event includes the following distances:
- 3.1 Miles: USATF-certified road course with rolling hills for runners and walkers.
- 100 Yards: Specific distance for children aged 5 years and under.
- 0.33 Miles: One-third mile distance for children aged 9 years and under.
