About the race
Sargent Lions Club 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place on November 21, 2026 at Mike Leebron Park, 716 Caney Drive, Sargent, TX 77414. The course is flat and paved and carries USATF certification code TX22052LAB. Timing for both event options uses FAT Timing with camera timing. Two separate race options are offered: one aimed at runners seeking a certified time, and a second run described as a fun run that is open to families, children, joggers, and walkers.
Parking and restrooms are available on site. A water station will be provided at approximately the halfway point of the course. Registration fees differ by date: $30 until October 31, 2026 (includes event shirt), $45 until November 17, 2026 (no shirt), and $50 on the day of the event (no shirt). Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 20 at Mike Leebron Park.
Race day packet pickup is available at the park. Awards are presented after each race to the top three finishers in male and female categories within these age groups: 14 and under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-49, and 50 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
