Event Overview
The Sarcoma Shuffle is a 5k and 10k event taking place at Wheaton Regional Park in Silver Spring, Maryland. The event supports the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA), whose mission is to improve outcomes for people diagnosed with sarcoma.

Course Information
The course takes place on the trails of Wheaton Regional Park. The route is mostly paved, with rolling hills and some small parts of trail and gravel. The 5k course is one loop, while the 10k is two loops. There is a "Back of the Pack" series for runners with paces longer than the listed time of 11:30 per mile. For the 10k, there are five water stations along the course; for the 5k, there are two. Gatorade may be available at some stations.
Registration & Fees
Early registration fees are $30 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k until May 15, after which prices increase. There is an additional $5 increase for race-day registration. A virtual run option is also available.
Participant Perks
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical (Dri-Fit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered before May 27; after that, they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall. Additional awards are given for first and second place in standard age group categories.
Additional Information
Packet pickup and race-day registration are available on-site. The event will take place rain or shine. Live results are posted online and via a QR code at the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
