Event
The Sarcoma Shuffle 5k & 10k takes place on June 7, 2026 at Wheaton Regional Park in Silver Spring, Maryland. The event offers an in-person race and a virtual run option. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series, and toward the Spring Series. The event benefits the Sarcoma Foundation of America, which funds research, education, advocacy, and resources for people diagnosed with sarcoma.

The course is paved for the majority, with rolling hills and some small sections of trail and gravel. The 5k is one loop and the 10k is two loops. The event is chip timed and finishers receive a medal and a technical (drifit) event shirt. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for runners registered before May 27; extras may be available after that date on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration fees listed include early and later rates, with prices increasing by $5 on race morning. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to allow time to check in. There are five water stations on the 10k and two on the 5k at approximate mile markers; Gatorade will be available at some stations.
