Event overview
SANTAS ON THE RUN X is a late November 2025 running event in Spring Valley, Illinois, at 999 N Strong Ave. The event includes the following distances:

- 1-mile walk
Each event has an entry fee listed at $30, with a price increase after November 18, 2025. The event benefits the Hall Township Food Pantry. Organizers request donations of non-perishable items; for every two items donated a participant earns one entry in a prize drawing.
Course, timing and amenities
The 5K course is a certified measured course that is mostly flat with two gentle hills. The race will be chip timed with computerized results. Water or goodie stops are placed at mile 1 and at about mile 1.7. Holiday goodie stops will offer cookies, candy and hot chocolate. Traffic control will be provided.
Each participant receives a lighted Santa hat. Pre-registrants may choose a hoodie, sweatshirt, or long sleeve T-shirt. Awards, presented to overall male and female top finishers and to 1st through 3rd in specified age groups, will be Christmas ornaments. Organizers note there are no refunds or registration transfers.
