Lori's Walleye Run 5K
Lori's Walleye Run 5K takes place on March 21, 2026, in Spring Valley, Illinois, with the event centered at Hall High School, 800 W. Erie Street. The event is a 5K run that starts and finishes in the high school parking lot.
The course is an out-and-back on paved city streets with traffic control at most intersections. Terrain is mostly flat with a series of gentle rolling hills. The course is a certified distance. The race is chip timed and race results are posted on the Starved Rock Runners website.
Registration fees are tiered: $25 if registered by January 1, 2026; $30 on or before March 15, 2026; and $35 through and including race day. Swag for participants is a long sleeve race T-shirt; shirts are only guaranteed for those who pre-register on or before March 1, 2026.
Awards are given to first, second and third place finishers in each age bracket, to the overall male and female finishers, and to the top male and female finisher from Spring Valley. Age divisions, listed separately for males and females, are: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80 and over. There will be no awards ceremony at the race; once results are determined, awards can be collected or will be mailed to participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
