Santa Sleighs 5K
The Santa Sleighs event is a holiday-themed running event held at McCormick Woods Golf Course in Port Orchard, Washington. The program includes a main 5K race and a separate 1K Kids Reindeer Run for children age 10 and under.
The course runs on the McCormick Woods golf course and is described as lined with holiday decorations and music. Participants are encouraged to dress as holiday characters; the first 200 entrants receive a Santa costume to wear during the race. Packet pickup is available at the McCormick Woods Clubhouse on race day. Onsite registration is available both the day before and on race morning. The 1K is a free fun run for children.
After the race, participants can have hot cocoa and cookies and mingle with other attendees. Event proceeds will benefit the South Kitsap community.
