Santa Rosa Turkey Trot

The Santa Rosa Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday November 26, 2026, in Old Courthouse Square in Downtown Santa Rosa, CA 95404. The event includes a community 5k and a short children’s run for very young participants.

The 5k course runs through the streets of downtown, travels out along Santa Rosa Creek, and returns to the square. A short children’s loop is held in the square and is open to ages 1 to 5.

For 2026 the event features finisher medals made of wood. Age group awards are presented on special finisher lanyards and complement podium awards for top finishers.

The event supports Redwood Empire Food Bank in 2026. The food bank’s work serves people and families across Sonoma County and in Santa Rosa.
