About the race
The Santa Claus Classic is a road running event held at Callaway Gardens, Robin Lake Beach in Pine Mountain, GA on November 22, 2026. The primary race distance is 10 km and the course travels through the Callaway Gardens "Fantasy in Lights" display, passing themed miles such as marshmallow, chocolate, candy cane and mistletoe.
The route includes 5–6 aid stations that provide water and Cerasport. Runners and walkers share the course; trolleys and slow-moving vehicles may be present on or near the route for parts of the last miles, so participants are required to wear visible lights or reflective items for safety. The finish line is on the beach path beneath the pavilion.
Registration notes and race items: T-shirt and finisher medal are not guaranteed for registrations made on race day or during the final week; November 10 is listed as the last day to be guaranteed a T-shirt and medal. Packet pick up is held at the Robin Lake Pavilion area on the event day; athletes must present a government-issued photo ID at packet pick up. Entrance to Callaway Gardens is free for athletes and spectators; spectators who wish to use Callaway trolley or drive-through lights may pay an additional charge and must book through Callaway Gardens.
Age-category awards are given to the top three in each group. Categories are male and female with age groups starting at 14 and under, then 15–19 in five-year increments up through 70 and over. Race management may alter or cancel the event for hazardous weather; refunds are not offered under normal circumstances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
