Santa Clarita Marathon
The Santa Clarita Marathon is held along the Santa Clarita paseos and bike path and uses gentle rolling hills. The full course is USATF certified with certificate number CA23032TEB and is listed as a Boston Qualifier. Start and finish are located at Heritage Park, 24155 Newhall Ranch Rd., Santa Clarita, CA 91355. The course has no auto traffic.

The course is described as mostly flat and walker friendly, with multiple water stations and a generous seven hour time limit for the marathon. An early start option is available for marathon runners who notify organizers in advance; early starters must be self-sufficient for the initial portion of the course while some stations are being set up.
All finishers receive a finisher medal, a premium sublimated shirt, a premium runner's hat with the event logo, and a reusable tote bag; the event states the combined value exceeds $100. Post race provisions include complimentary street tacos for runners and additional food tickets available for purchase. Awards include top three overall and top three age group medals for each race, plus top three team competition medals.
