Santa Clara Swiss Days 5K
The Santa Clara Swiss Days 5K is part of the town's annual Swiss Days celebration and is presented alongside a pancake breakfast (extra charge) and the Swiss Days Parade. The event is a 5K run/walk; strollers are welcome and dogs are not allowed in the race.
The course begins at Santa Clara Town Hall (2603 Santa Clara Drive), follows Santa Clara Drive West, loops back on Santa Clara Drive going East, turns right onto Chapel Street, turns left on Bonneli Trail, turns left on Old Farm and finishes on Vineyard Drive on the backside of Santa Clara Town Hall.
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners in the open and masters divisions and to the top three finishers in each age division. Overall winners are excluded from their age division awards. All contestants are eligible for prize raffle drawings.
Registration fees are $18 through September 11 and $28 for September 12 through September 25. Online registration via RunnerCard is the preferred method and will be accepted through Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Paper registration is available at the Santa Clara City Office through September 25; the city office is at 2603 Santa Clara Drive with office hours Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Early race packet pick up is available at the city office on Wednesday, September 23; Thursday, September 24; and Friday, September 25.
Runner parking is at Snow Canyon High School parking lot, 1385 Lava Flow Drive, with shuttle service to the start area. No parking is allowed at the event site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
