Covered Bridge 5K
The Covered Bridge 5K is a single-race event held on 12/13/2026 at Tyler State Park in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The course covers 3.1 miles and includes a notable climb known locally as Covered Bridge Hill in Tyler State Park.
This race is the first event in the Bucks County Roadrunners Winter Series. The Winter Series began in 1978 and normally comprises 11 weekly races held from December through February, weather permitting. To register for the entire Winter Series, an annual BCRR membership is required; membership registration and series registration begin in the fall. Single-race entries do not require membership, and non-members may register onsite on race day for individual events.
The single-race registration fee for this event is $25.00. Participants who wish to compete for series awards must meet the series requirement of completing at least one race and one volunteer assignment. The event information notes that series rules cover additional eligibility and award details. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
