Sandia Mountain Shadows Trail Run
The Sandia Mountain Shadows Trail Run is an annual trail running event held on Sunday, October 4, 2026. It is presented as the 22nd Annual NM Sandia Mountain Shadows Trail Run and takes place at Piedra Lisa Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The course offers views of the Rio Grande Valley, Albuquerque, the Sandia Mountain foothills, and passing hot air balloons.

Event services and recognition include finisher medals for all 10K and 5K participants, event shirts for all participants, and age-group and overall awards. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports, North Towne Plaza, with out-of-town participants able to collect packets on race morning between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m. Race day registration is located at Piedra Lisa Park. Course maps are provided for the 5K and 10K routes.
