Sandia Mountain Shadows Trail Run
The 22nd Annual NM Sandia Mountain Shadows Trail Run takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Piedra Lisa Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event offers trail distances through the Sandia Mountain foothills with scenic views over the Rio Grande Valley and Albuquerque, including visible hot air balloons below the course.

- 15K
- 10K
- 5K
Participants receive event shirts, and there are age-group and overall awards. Finisher medals are provided for all 10K and 5K participants. Course maps are available for the 5K and 10K routes.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2026, from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports, North Towne Plaza, 5901 Wyoming Suite R, Albuquerque. Out-of-town participants may pick up packets on race morning during a designated window.
