Sandhill Crane All Trail Half Marathon/10K/5K
The event takes place at Dr. T. K. Lawless County Park, an 820 acre site in Vandalia, Michigan. The course is a non-repeat, all trail route that runs through forest and field and passes streams, small lakes and six bridge crossings. The terrain includes some hills and local sandhill cranes are known to frequent the area.

- 10K run/walk
- 5K run/walk
- 1K kids fun run
Race services include long sleeve performance T-shirts for all finishers with garment guarantee for registrations received by September 29, laser cut wood awards for top finishers, and medals for second and third in each age group. Water and sports drink stations are placed on course and the finish area provides fruit, sports drink, popsicles, potato chips, homemade cookies and water. Chip timing is provided for the 5K, 10K and half marathon; chip timing closes at noon and the course remains open until 2:00 PM. Music will be played by a DJ at the start and finish with two additional music stations on course. Results are timed and scored by a professional timing service and posted live during the event. The race benefits Cass County Parks and the Dowagiac Rotary Club. No parking fee is charged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
