Sandbach 10K
Sandbach 10K is a 10 km road race organised by Sandbach Striders with race headquarters at Sandbach Rugby Club, Bradwall Road, Sandbach CW11 1RA. The course runs through rural Cheshire East and is described as largely flat.
The route uses mainly closed roads and includes a short gravel track at the start. The event is UKA licensed, chip-timed and publishes online results. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a finisher goody bag.
Entry details state an entry fee of £18, with a £2 discount for UKA members. Entries are for people aged 16 and over (age reference given as on Wed 19 Aug 2026). The event currently shows no places remaining and operates a waiting list; payment is taken only if a place is offered and accepted. Transfers are allowed until at least one week before the event.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers, in veteran categories V40 to V60, and to the first Sandbach resident, with a limit of one prize per person. All profits from the event go to the club fundraiser; in 2024 the event raised in excess of £4,200 for the club charity Sandbach Pantry.
