Sandbach 10K, Sunday 19 July 2026
The Sandbach 10K is a UKA licensed road race held at Sandbach Rugby Club, Bradwall Road, Sandbach CW11 1RA. The course is described as largely flat and passes through rural parts of Cheshire East. The route uses mainly closed roads and includes a short gravel track at the start.
The event is chip timed with numbers and timing chips collected on the day. Online results will be published and finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and to winners in veteran categories V40, V45, V50, V55 and V60. A prize is also given to the first Sandbach resident male and female with a maximum of one prize per person.
Entry is open to those aged 16 and over and the standard entry fee is £18, with a £2 discount for UKA members on application. Entries close on Friday 17 July 2026 at 20:00 and a waiting list is in operation; there were 65 people on the waiting list at the time of publication. Transfers are allowed until at least one week before the event. The organisers state that no refunds are given and that all profits support the club fundraiser.
