Sandbach 10K - Sunday 19 July 2026
The Sandbach 10K is a 10 km road race organised by Sandbach Striders and scheduled for Sunday 19 July 2026. The event is based at Sandbach Rugby Club, Bradwall Road, Sandbach CW11 1RA. Entry is priced at £18 or £16 for UKA members.
The course is described as largely flat and runs through the rural Cheshire East countryside. The route uses mainly closed roads and includes a short gravel track at the start. The race holds a UKA licence, is chip timed and offers online results. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers, in veteran categories (V40, V45, V50, V55 and V60) and to the first Sandbach resident, with a limit of one prize per person. Entry options are shown for ages 16 and over. Entries close 17 July 2026 and the event currently operates a waiting list with 125 people listed. Transfers are allowed until at least one week before the event.
No refunds are given and organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel applications or to alter the date, course or distance. All profits from the day are directed to the club fundraiser; the club reported raising in excess of £4,200 for Sandbach Pantry in 2024. Participants must be medically fit and may be removed from the event if deemed unfit or unsafe. Use of event images is permitted by entry.
