The 10 mile course begins at the sandy beach, follows trails around Round Lake, climbs toward an area called the Serengeti, loops the high section, then descends back to the beach. The 3 mile route starts at the beach, circles the two lakes, and returns to the beach. Aid stations providing water are located near mile 2, mile 5.5, and mile 6.5; participants are advised to carry personal hydration or nutrition as needed. Park bathrooms will be open and parking is available in both beach parking lots. Packet pick-up is offered at Fleet Feet in East Syracuse and on race day. Swag: 10 mile entrants receive a finisher medal; 3 mile entrants receive a sports towel. Optional add-ons include a shirt for $25 and a neck gaiter for $8. Cash awards are offered for top finishers in the 10 mile, and ribbon awards are given for top finishers in the 3 mile. The event notes there are no refunds and limited deferrals after March 18.
