The 10 mile course starts at the sandy beach, goes around Round Lake, ascends toward the area called the Serengeti, loops the top section, and returns to the beach. The 3 mile course starts at the same beach and loops around the two lakes before returning to the beach.

Packet pick-up is scheduled at Fleet Feet in East Syracuse and on race day. The race lists water-only aid stations near miles 2 and 6.5, with an additional aid point noted at mile 5.5; participants are advised to carry hydration or nutrition if needed. Park bathrooms will be open and parking is available in both lots by the beach.

Swag and awards: 10 mile finishers receive a finisher medal; 3 mile participants receive a sports towel. Add-on items include a T-shirt and a neck gaiter for a fee. Cash awards are offered to the top three male and female finishers in the 10 mile, and ribbon awards are given to top finishers in the 3 mile.
