San Pedro Park Trail 5K, Kids Run & Member Picnic

The event takes place at San Pedro Park - North Walnut Picnic area, 600 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CA 94044. It includes a trail 5K, a kids race that follows the 5K, and a members only picnic that follows the kids race. Parking inside the park carries a $6 fee; street parking is available in adjacent neighborhoods and attendees are asked to follow local regulations and avoid the church parking lot.

The course begins near the volleyball court on the footpath beside the restrooms. Runners cross a footbridge, follow the Weiler Ranch Rd trail west about 500 feet to a cone turnaround, then return east and bear left onto the Valley View Trail. The route climbs and descends back to Weiler Ranch Rd trail, where there is a sharp left onto Weiler Ranch Rd and an eastward leg that turns at a loop. The final approach returns on Weiler Ranch Rd trail and then left to finish at the picnic area. The first mile includes hilly, technical rocky trail running and sections of fire road.
