San Marcos Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k
The San Marcos Half Marathon is the second event in the four-part Texas Hill Country Half Marathon series. This long-standing event, formerly known as "Moe's Better Half," takes place in San Marcos, Texas, a city located between San Antonio and Austin. The race course travels through prairie landscapes and includes rolling hills.

- 10k
- 5k
- 0.05k Fun Run
The event provides a competitive category for walkers in both the 10k and 5k distances. Virtual options are also available for those unable to attend in person. The start and finish lines are located at the Tanger Outlets parking lot.
All finishers across all distances receive a medal. Awards are presented to the first through fourth-place finishers in various age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 90 and older. Overall male and female winners, including masters and super masters categories, are determined by gun time, while age group awards are based on chip time. The event supports the organization Marrow Match through fundraising efforts.
A packet pickup is organized at Fleet Feet San Antonio on the day before the race, with a secondary pickup option available on race morning at the Tanger Outlets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
