The Running Chicken 2027 10K/5K Run and Walk
The event is a fundraiser for the Run 4 Bitti and Brynn Foundation held at Santa Margarita Lake in Santa Margarita, California on January 3, 2027. It offers both in-person and virtual participation.

Registration opens August 15, 2026 and closes January 2, 2027. The in-person entry fee is $51 and the virtual entry fee is $45. The race entry fee includes the cost of admission to Santa Margarita Lake Park.
If a registrant wants to switch from one race to another they must contact the timing official before the race starts. Bibs for in-person participants must be picked up either on January 2 at Springhill Suites or prior to the race on January 3; bibs will not be shipped. Registrations made after December 26 that chose the shipping option for swag will have that swag shipped after January 3. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
