La Cuesta Ranch Trail Run : January 24, 2026
The La Cuesta Ranch Trail Run takes place at La Cuesta Ranch near San Luis Obispo, CA, on Loomis Road. The race venue backs up to Poly Canyon and West Cuesta Ridge and uses the historic ranch barn as the start/finish area. The event is organized by AllWeDoIsRun, which has produced trail events since 2007. Registration closes January 22, 2026.

Course and event services
The course is 100% dirt trail and ranch roads. The 10 km course is a single loop run counter-clockwise; the 20 km is two loops and the 30 km is three loops. The 10 km loop lists approximately 2,000 ft of climb and about 2,002 ft of descent, with steep sections noted. Cutoff policy is three hours per loop. Aid stations are stocked at about every three miles and provide prepackaged food, water, and Hammer Nutrition products. Registration includes a custom tee shirt, and there are awards for top male and female in each distance plus a custom award for all finishers. The event has a no refunds or deferrals policy.
Camping and parking
Onsite primitive dry camping is available Friday night for a fee per vehicle; this fee also covers Saturday on-site parking. Camping is first come, no reservations. Portable and fixed restrooms are available. Onsite parking is charged per vehicle, per day. No open fires are allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
