The 2026 PRE-SALE Thrive San Diego Half Marathon & 5K takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in San Diego, CA (1600 Vacation Road, ZIP 92109). All courses start and finish at Ski Beach in Mission Bay. The event returns for its 10th year and includes a half marathon, a half marathon relay, and a 5K. Courses run along Mission Bay and Crown Point and feature flat stretches and bay views.
Distances and registration
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles: loop course; starts on Ingraham St, finishes at Ski Beach.
- Half Marathon Relay - 13.1 miles, ~6.5 miles each: handoff at Telecote Shores.
- 5K - 5 kilometers: loop along Crown Point, finishes at Ski Beach.
Registration opens October 30, 2025 at 12:00am PDT. Listed entry prices are $94.28 for the half marathon (including a $6.28 fee) and $37.04 for the 5K (including a $3.04 fee). Entry includes a performance long sleeve for half marathon and relay entries, a short sleeve tech tee for 5K entries, racer bib, distance-specific finisher medal, chip timing, live finish results and rankings, overall and age group awards, award prizes, and access to the Thrive Expo.
