Samtampa Memorial Run

The Samtampa Memorial Run 2025, organized by Porthcawl Runners in association with Nathaniel Cars, is a commemorative 7 km run taking place on April 6, 2025, in Porthcawl, Great Britain. This event honors the 47 lives lost in the grounding of the SS Samtampa in 1947, including eight RNLI crew members. The route begins at the Eastern Promenade, leads to the Samtampa Memorial at Rest Bay, and returns to the lifeboat station.
