Sammamish City Marathon 26.2 - event overview
The event offers a marathon course that begins at Sammamish City Center (City Hall), runs through Sammamish neighborhoods and Soaring Eagle Park, follows Beaver Lake Boulevard to 228th, and returns toward the start. The course is USATF certified and listed as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
Aid stations are placed approximately every three miles and provide water, Gatorade, gels or Gu, and first aid. Parking is available at the City Center Town Hall Sammamish and at Skyline High School. Postrace activities take place at Skyline High School including music, activities, and podium awards at the school stage at noon.
Race registration includes access to a pasta feed on October 23 at Redmond Town Center, a long sleeve full color technical mesh T-shirt for registrants, and a cast iron finisher medallion appropriate to each distance.
