Sammamish City Marathon 26.2
The event offers several race distances and a certified marathon course that runs through Sammamish. The course begins at Sammamish City Center (City Hall), continues through local neighborhoods and Soaring Eagle Park, then follows Beaver Lake Boulevard to 228th and returns to the start. Runners on the park section may encounter wildlife such as owls, black bears, cougars, or eagles.

The marathon course is USATF certified and listed as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Aid stations appear approximately every 3 miles and provide water, Gatorade, energy gels (Gel/Gu), and first aid support. Parking is available free at the City Center Town Hall Sammamish and at Skyline High School.
Registration includes admission to a pasta feed held the day before the race at Redmond Town Center, a long sleeve full-color technical T-shirt for registrants, and a cast-iron 26.2 finisher medallion for those who complete the marathon.
