About the race
Sammamish City Marathon 26.2 is scheduled for October 24, 2026, in Sammamish, Washington. The event uses Skyline High School (1122 228th Ave SE) as the primary venue and race hub.
The marathon course starts at Sammamish City Center (City Hall) and proceeds through Sammamish neighborhoods, passes through Soaring Eagle Park, continues along Beaver Lake Boulevard to 228th, and returns to the start. The route description notes potential local wildlife sightings in Soaring Eagle Park, including owls, black bears, cougars, or eagles.
Aid stations are provided on course approximately every three miles and include water, Gatorade, Gel/Gu, and first aid. The course is indicated as USATF certification pending for Boston Marathon qualifying designation.
Post-race activities are held at Skyline High School and include podium awards on the stage, music, and other activities. Parking is available free at City Center Town Hall Sammamish and Skyline High School.
Registrations include admission to a Pasta Feed on October 23 at Redmond Town Center, a long sleeve full color technical T-Shirt, and finishers receive cast iron finisher medallions for their respective distances.
