Sammamish City Marathon 26.2
The Sammamish City Marathon is a road race held in Sammamish, Washington. The course starts near Sammamish City Center and runs through local neighborhoods, passes Soaring Eagle Park, follows Beaver Lake Boulevard to 228th Avenue, and returns toward Skyline High School. The marathon course is USATF certified and designated as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
The event offers multiple race distances:
- Marathon 26.2 USATF certified course, Boston qualifier
- Half Marathon 13.1 same general area as the full course
- Mini Marathon 10k shorter measured course
- 5k community distance
Support on the course includes water, Gatorade, energy gel, and first aid approximately every 3 miles. Registrants receive a long sleeve, full color technical T shirt and finishers receive a cast iron 26.2 Sammamish Marathon finisher medallion. Registration also includes admission to a pasta feed the day before at Redmond Town Center.
A post race celebration takes place at Skyline High School with music, activities, and podium awards on the school stage. Free parking is available at Sammamish City Center Town Hall and at Skyline High School. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
