Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Tucson
The Salute to Veterans race takes place at Danny Lopez Park in Tucson, AZ and is organized to honor veterans and service members. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and provides a race shirt and a custom finisher medal to all participants.

Veterans race for free and Active Duty military may register for a reduced fee of $15 with a government-issued military ID. Registration pricing varies by deadline: regular, late, and race-day rates are listed for each distance, and participants registered by October 21 are guaranteed race swag in their size; afterwards swag is while supplies last.
All courses are out-and-back and described as mostly flat with some small elevation changes. Water stations are placed approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must maintain at least a 16 minute per mile pace to finish.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in each distance, the top three overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and the top three athletes in five-year age groups starting at 10 and under across all distances.
