Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Shreveport
The event takes place on October 31, 2026 at Walker Place Park, 4832 Brookshire Arena Dr, Bossier City, LA 71112. It offers in person and virtual running options over three standard distances.

Registration fees vary by entry type. Veterans may register for the Veteran race categories at no cost and receive a finisher medal and eligibility for awards; a form of veteran ID must be shown at registration or bib pickup. Active duty military have a reduced entry fee for the Active Duty categories and receive a finisher medal; a form of military ID must be shown at registration or bib pickup. Race shirts are noted in event information; some entries specify shirts must be purchased at registration.
Awards are planned for competitive finishers: Top Three male and female overall finishers in each distance, Top Three overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and the top three athletes in each traditional five year age group starting at 10 and under across all distances.
