Event Overview
The Salty Soldier is an obstacle course and fund-raising event located in Cuero, Texas. Organized through a partnership between the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3972 and the non-profit organization Call Sign Victor, the event raises funds to support veterans, first responders, and their families.
The main event features a 5 km (approximately 3.2 miles) course that includes a total of 12 obstacles. The route begins at the Harvey and Jane Mueller Rodeo Arena, moves through the golf course and the back of the flight line, and returns to the arena for the finish. Participants have the option to walk, run, or race the course. For those interested in tracking their performance, the event is officially timed.
