Dash for Downs - Yoakum, Texas
The Yoakum Shape Shop sponsors the 13th Annual Dash for Downs on May 9, 2026, in historic downtown Yoakum at 116 East Gonzales Street. The event raises funds to support the Down Syndrome Foundation of South Texas and is presented as a community gathering for families, runners, walkers, and supporters.
Past editions have attracted more than 300 participants and volunteers. The program for 2026 includes separate events for adults and children and lists registration periods and fees for each event.

- 5K - Dash for Downs 5K Run/Walk, registration fee $25
- 5K - Dash for Downs Kids Fun Run, registration fee $15
