Salt Cellar Fell Race
The Salt Cellar Fell Race is a challenging fell running event held in the Peak District, starting and finishing at the Fairholmes Visitor Centre near Ladybower Reservoir. The race covers a distance of 10.9 km (7.1 miles) with an ascent of 486 meters (1,535 feet), categorized as BM. The course ascends onto Derwent Edge and descends from Salt Cellar Boulder, offering runners scenic views and varied terrain.
The event is organized by Steel City Striders Running Club and supports Edale Mountain Rescue and the National Trust through its proceeds.
