Salt Cellar Fell Race
The Salt Cellar Fell Race, organized by Steel City Striders, is a challenging 10.9 km (7.1 miles) fell running event held in the Peak District, starting and finishing near the Upper Derwent Reservoir at Fairholmes Visitor Centre. The course features 486 meters (1,535 feet) of ascent, categorized as BM, and includes a scenic route up to Derwent Edge with a descent from Salt Cellar Boulder, offering great views and varied terrain. The race is limited to 250 runners with advance entry only, and proceeds support Edale Mountain Rescue and the National Trust.
