2026 Salmon Run - Overview
The 2026 Salmon Run is scheduled for April 18, 2026 in Bend, Oregon. This is the 38th annual running of the event. Distances offered are:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
A Little Fry Run for children is also part of the event. The finish area is on the lawn at Riverbend Park, 799 SW Columbia St, Bend, OR 97702.
Course, awards and logistics
All courses run along the Deschutes River and use a mix of trails and paved sidewalks. Surface breakdown by distance:
- Half marathon: 75% paved sidewalks, 25% trail.
- 10K: 80% paved sidewalks, 20% trail.
- 5K: 65% paved sidewalks, 35% trail.
Courses will be marked with mile markers and directional arrows. A post-race party at the finish includes food, beverages (including beer) and music. Awards include gift bags and top-three male and female prizes in open and masters categories; 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons will be given for age-group finishers. Parking at Riverbend Park is limited; parking attendants will direct arrivals and additional parking is available on city streets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
