Salmon Run – Bend, Oregon
The Salmon Run is an annual road race organized by Lay It Out Events in Bend, Oregon. The event offers three distances and draws participants to courses that run along the Deschutes River. The start and finish areas are located at Riverbend Park and the event is held under a special use permit from the Deschutes National Forest.

Packet pick-up is available at Footzone in Downtown Bend on the Friday before the race and on race morning. Tags for bags and a staffed gear drop tent are available for participants to leave and retrieve gear.
Course maps are published for each distance and distributed via the Ride With GPS app. Aid stations are placed along each course with the following provisions: five stations on the half marathon, two on the 10K, and one on the 5K. Stations are supplied with water, GU brew and GU gels; the 5K station offers a GU electrolyte drink.
Every finisher receives a commemorative medal. Registrants choose between a soft crew neck sweatshirt or a performance tee for race day, and awards include prizes for top finishers in Open and Masters categories plus ribbons for age-group placings.
