Salmon Run - Bend, Oregon
The Salmon Run takes place in Bend, Oregon on April 18, 2026. The event offers three race distances that follow routes along the Deschutes River, using a mix of trail and paved sidewalks and some pavement.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K - 6.1 miles
- 5K - 3.1 miles
Course surfaces differ by distance. The half marathon is approximately 75% paved sidewalks and 25% trail. The 10K is roughly 80% paved sidewalks and 20% trail. The 5K is about 65% paved sidewalks and 35% trail. All courses are marked with mile markers and directional arrows.
Races finish on the lawn at Riverbend Park. Finish line activities include a postrace party with food, beverages including beer, and music. Participants receive gift bags and awards for the top three male and female finishers in open and masters categories. Ribbons are awarded for first through third place in age groups.
Parking at Riverbend Park is limited on race day; parking attendants will direct arrivals. Additional parking is available on city streets.
