Salmon Run
Salmon Run is a road race event in Bend, Oregon with three distances: a half marathon, a 10K and a 5K. The start and finish are located at Riverbend Park along the Deschutes River. The event is organized as an annual community race and is held in April.

Packet pick up is available at Footzone in downtown Bend on the Friday before the race, with race-day pickup handled on site. Course maps for each distance are provided through the Ride With GPS app.
Aid stations are placed on each course and supply water, GU brew and GU gels. The half marathon has five aid stations at about miles 2.8, 4.8, 7.5, 9.2 and 12.1. The 10K has two aid stations at about miles 2.6 and 5.2. The 5K has one aid station at about mile 2.3 and offers water and GU electrolyte drink plus gels.
All finishers receive a finisher’s medal. Registrants may choose a soft crew neck sweatshirt or a performance tee for an additional fee. Awards include gift bags and top-three awards for Open and Masters categories, plus 1st–3rd place ribbons in each age group.
The race supports The Giving Plate, a local food pantry that operates multiple hunger-relief programs serving families and individuals in Central Oregon.
Post-race activities at Riverbend Park include music, free food, a beer offering from Crux Brewery and local vendors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
