Salmon Run - Bend Races
The Salmon Run in Bend, Oregon is scheduled for April 17, 2027 and marks the 39th annual edition organized by Lay It Out Events. The event uses courses along the Deschutes River with the start and finish located at Riverbend Park and is authorized under a special use permit from the Deschutes National Forest. Course maps are available through the Ride With GPS app.

- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon
Packet pick up is available at Footzone in downtown Bend the day before the race; race day packet pick up is also available on site. Bag drop tags will be provided at packet pick up and on race morning.
Aid stations:
- Half marathon: five aid stations with water, GU brew and GU gels at approximately miles 2.8, 4.8, 7.5, 9.2, 12.1.
- 10K: two aid stations with water, GU brew and GU gels at approximately miles 2.6 and 5.2.
- 5K: one aid station with water, GU electrolyte drink and GU gels at approximately mile 2.3.
Every finisher receives a medal. Participants may choose between a soft crew neck sweatshirt or a performance tee for an additional fee; pricing listed for 2027 is $35 for a shirt and $55 for a sweatshirt.
The post race celebration at Riverbend Park includes music, free food, beer from Crux Brewery and local vendors. The race lists Bliss Roofing as title sponsor and names additional local sponsors. The designated beneficiary is The Giving Plate, a grassroots food pantry that operates several hunger relief programs and serves local families in Central Oregon.
