Salem Days 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run
The event is held at Salem Pond (Knoll Park), 125 W 300 South, Salem, Utah. Parking is provided at Salem Elementary, 100 West 100 South, and participants walk across the bridge to the pond.

- 5K road race
- 1 mile fun run
Awards are given to overall finishers in first, second, and third place for both the 1 mile and 5K races. Age division medals are awarded for first through third place in both distances. A series of prizes will be raffled after the race.
T-shirts are provided but quantities and sizes are limited. Organizers ordered an exact amount of shirts and sizes; once a selected size is gone participants must choose from sizes that remain and may not change sizes until after the race on Saturday. T-shirts are not gender specific.
Registration fees change by date. Pre registration through August 3 is $25 per person and a family rate of $80 for households with 4 to 7 members. From August 4 through August 6 registration is $30 per person and the family rate is $90. Packet pick up is available Friday August 7 at the Salem Rec Office from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the morning of the race at Salem Pond from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Registration at packet pick up on August 7 is by credit card only.
