Salem Days 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run
This community running event takes place at Salem Pond (Knoll Park) in Salem, UT. The program includes two distances and awards for top finishers and age divisions. Overall finishers in each race receive awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Age-division medals are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both races.
The event provides race shirts; early registration is recommended to guarantee a shirt. T-shirts are not gender specific this year. There will be prize raffles held after the race. Live race results are provided during the event. Parking is arranged at Salem Elementary, 100 West 100 South, with a short walk across the bridge to Salem Pond.
Registration fees vary by date and by family status. Pre-registration pricing and family rates apply through specific dates in August; later registration and on-site registration are offered at higher rates. Packet pick-up is available on the Friday before the race at the Salem Recreation Office and on the morning of the event at Salem Pond; picking up packets on Friday is noted as helpful.
